The Sample Portfolio workshops allow you to build up a file of techniques to refer to when ever you need them. When you attend the first workshop you will receive a file to start building your porfolio then add to it on each workshop. Workshops In this series include, Zips, Seams and Hems, Pockets, Collars and Cuffs, Dressmaking Techniques, Advanced Dressmaking Techniques, Tailoring Techniques, Know Your Fabrics.

Learn all the basic skills to get you started with your dressmaking projects, learn the what all the terminology means, practice skills like stay stitching, darts, buttonholes, ease stitching, understitching, gathering and simple seams and hems. Lots of samples and notes to take home.

What You Need To Bring : The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project.  You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.
