Style meets function with its classic shape and modern cut, this simple coat is the perfect choice for transitional weather.
Lightweight and unlined, it features a two piece cuffed sleeve, optional drawstring waist, gusseted flap pocket and a zipper placket with snap buttons. View A will keep you warm and dry with a roomy three piece hood, while View B features a classic stand-up collar.
Lots of techniques to practice you could make this jacket in a waterproof or woven fabric.
The cost of the pattern is included in the workshop price and a kit with all the hardware needed will be available to purchase.
What You Need To Bring : The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project. You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.
Materials Needed : A materials list will be sent nearer the time
Bring along your own materials or purchase from Bloomsbury Square Fabrics which is next to the Sewing Room. If you are buying fabrics on the day please contact Victoria at Bloomsbury Square to make an appointment. Alternatively order fabric in advance, have it sent to you or collect on the day of the class.
