True Bias Southport Dress - 11th August 2021
The Southport dress is a tank style dress designed to be worn as a coverup at the beach or a dress for around town. It has a button opening at center front and a drawstring waist with inseam pockets.
View A hits 20” from the waist.
View B is maxi length and hits 42” from the waist and includes a center front slit.
We made this dress on a recent Sew Along and it was really fun to make

What You Need To Bring: The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project. You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.
Materials Needed: To Make the Southport Dress you will need 1.75m of 150cm wide woven fabric for the short version and 3.2m of 150cm wide fabric for the long version
You will also need 3m of 15mm wide bias binding, 25cm of lightweight woven interfacing, 4 buttons & matching thread
