Full Bust Adjustment - 27th January 2023

If you have a fuller bust you may have had problems with fitting commercial patterns.  Buying a bigger size will mean the garment may fit on the bust but will be too big everywhere else.

On this workshop, you will learn how to add fullness just where you need it.  The workshop will cover patterns with no dart, a side dart and princess seams so that you should gain a good knowledge of what to do with different designs.

Once you learn the principles of full bust adjustment you can practice on a commercial pattern and make up a toile so that you can really see how it works.

What You Need To Bring: The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project.  You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.

Materials Needed: Bring along a commercial pattern with either no dart, a side dart or a princess seam and some fabric for your toile.
