Sample Portfolio - All About Interfacing - 17th February 2025
The Sample Portfolio workshops allow you to build up a file of techniques to refer to whenever you need them. When you attend the first workshop you will receive a file to start building your portfolio and then add to it at each workshop. Workshops In this series include Zips, Seams and Hems, Pockets, Collars and Cuffs, Dressmaking Techniques, Advanced Dressmaking Techniques, Tailoring Techniques, The Importance of Pressing, and Machine Feet.
Interfacings help to support & shape your garment and it is really important to choose the correct one. From Collars to Facings, Shoulders to Hems all areas could need interfacing.
On this workshop, you will find out what is available as well as how and where to use them.
What You Need To Bring: The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project. You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.
