Sample Portfolio - All About Sleeves - 10th February 2025

The Sample Portfolio workshops allow you to build up a file of techniques to refer to whenever you need them. When you attend the first workshop you will receive a file to start building your portfolio then add to it on each workshop. Workshops In this series include Zips, Seams and Hems, Pockets, Collars and Cuffs, Dressmaking Techniques, Advanced Dressmaking Techniques, Tailoring Techniques, The Importance of Pressing, Machine Feet.

If you dread that part of your project when you have to put in sleeves, if you make sleeveless garments to avoid setting them in then this is the workshop for you.  

Learn about 1, 2  & 3 piece sleeves, how to put them into t-shirts dresses & jackets as well as hemming & finishing ideas.  Lots of tips and samples to make and take home.

What You Need To Bring: The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project.  You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.
