Sew-Along - The Maker's Atelier Sports Luxe Jacket 6th April 2021

While we are all at home I thought it would be nice to sew along together.

This is a time to learn some new techniques and practice some trickier sewing

This is a stylised bomber jacket with a batwing sleeve and ribbed collar, hem and cuffs. 

choose a classic bomber collar or a simple round neck. This jacket can be button or stud fastened.

You will need to purchase woven fabric, interfacing & buttons to make your skirt

This sew-along will take place on Zoom, I will send out the link to join the Sew-Along the day before.

Materials Needed: you will need 1.7m of 150cm wide woven or stretch fabric for the body of the jacket and 50cm of 150cm wide stretch fabric for the trip.  You will also need 6 buttons or snaps and a matching thread.

Before the Sew-Along: there are a few things you can prepare before the day of the Sew-Along.  Gather your tools together, wind a bobbin and thread your machine, you could also thread up your overlocker if you have one.  Pre-wash or steam your fabric.  Roughly cut out your pattern pieces to separate them.
