Sew-Along - Papercut Patterns Palisade Pants 24th & 25th March 2021

While we are all at home I thought it would be nice to sew along together.

A staple pant to have in your wardrobe for every season. The centre front and back seams on the leg replace the side seam for a streamlined look. Detail cross-over pockets span the side panel. Includes an elasticated waistband with flat-front detail and faux fly. With two length options, you can make these in pants or shorts.

Comfort is key with the Palisades.

This sew-along will take place on Zoom, I will send out the link to join the Sew-Along the day before.

The perfect project if you would like to learn to sew a simple pair of trousers with a bit of a difference

Let's have fun and make some comfortable trousers :)

Materials Needed:  2m of 150cm wide woven fabric, 30cm of woven fusible interfacing, 75cm of 5cm wide elastic, thread, your sewing machine and your sewing box with scissors, pins etc

Before the Sew-Along: there are a few things you can prepare before the day of the Sew-Along.  Gather your tools together, wind a bobbin and thread your machine, you could also thread up your overlocker if you have one.  Pre-wash or steam your fabric.  Roughly cut out your pattern pieces to separate them.
