Sew-Along - Style Arc Mila Dress 3rd March 2021

While we are all at home I thought it would be nice to sew along together.

The Style Arc Mila Dress is a flattering style that can be worn as a dress in the Summer or layered with a top underneath in cooler weather.  It is a flattering shape and gives the opportunity for combining your favourite colours :)

I love my Mila Dress and am looking forward to making another one.

You will need to purchase the Style Arc pattern

The pattern is also available from Amazone or from Style Arc directly as a pdf to download.

You will also need to purchase fabrics and matching thread

This sew-along will take place on Zoom, I will send out the link to join the Sew-Along the day before.

Let's have fun and make a dress :)

Materials Needed: You will need to purchase 1m of 150cm wide woven fabric for the skirt and 1.2m for the bodice, 20cm of lightweight woven interfacing, matching thread

NOTE: You could finish the neckline with bias binding instead of a facing - for this, you will need 1m of 13mm bias binding.

Before the Sew-Along: there are a few things you can prepare before the day of the Sew-Along.  Gather your tools together, wind a bobbin and thread your machine, you could also thread up your overlocker if you have one.  Pre-wash or steam your fabric.  Roughly cut out your pattern pieces to separate them.
