Sew-Along - The Maker's Atelier Pea Coat Starts 6th January 2022

Not available

Sew Alongs started during Lockdown and proved to be a great way for us to get together and sew.  I have decided to keep them going when the Midhurst Sewing Room re-opens.

The Pea Coat is a great new pattern from The Maker's Atelier - A double-breasted jacket with optional cuff detail. This jacket can be lined, unlined or finished with raw edges. The back is finished with a half belt and two vents.

The unlined and raw-edged versions require some sewing experience whereas the lined version is a bit trickier.

This sew-along will take place on Zoom, I will send out the link to join the Sew-Along the day before.

Let's have fun and make this classic wardrobe staple

Materials Needed: As well as your pattern, you will need all fabrics, notions and thread.  See the pattern for exact requirements.

Before the Sew-Along: there are a few things you can prepare before the day of the Sew-Along.  Gather your tools together, wind a bobbin and thread your machine.  You could also thread up your overlocker if you have one.  Pre-wash or steam your fabric.  Roughly cut out your pattern pieces to separate them.
