Sew-Along - The True Bias Southport Dress 21st & 22nd April 2021
While we are all at home I thought it would be nice to sew along together.
The Southport dress is a tank style dress designed to be worn as a coverup at the beach or a dress for around town.
It has a button opening at the centre front and a drawstring waist with inseam pockets.
Choose the shorter version or maxi length which includes a centre front slit.
You will need to purchase your pattern here
This sew-along will take place on Zoom, I will send out the link to join the Sew-Along the day before.
Let's have fun and make a summer dress :)
Materials Needed: 3m of 150cm wide woven fabric,3m of 12mm wide bias binding, 30cm of lightweight woven interfacing, 4 x 1cm buttons and matching thread.
Before the Sew-Along: there are a few things you can prepare before the day of the Sew-Along. Gather your tools together, wind a bobbin and thread your machine. You could also thread up your overlocker if you have one. Pre-wash or steam your fabric. Roughly cut out your pattern pieces to separate them.
