Sew-Along - The Maker's Atelier Tie Front Blouse - 22nd July 2021
Sew Alongs started during Lockdown and proved to be a great way for us to get together and sew. I have decided to keep them going when the Midhurst Sewing Room re-opens.
The Tie Neck Blouse is from The Maker's Atelier Book and is a great garment to practice working with fine fabrics such as silk, chiffon or georgette. You could also lengthen it to make a dress
You will need to purchase the book, you can do so HERE
This sew-along will take place on Zoom, I will send out the link to join the Sew-Along the day before.
Let's have fun and make a lovely blouse :)
Materials Needed: You will need 1.8m of 150cm wide fabric, 30cm of ultra-light interfacing, 5 buttons and a matching thread
To help with cutting out you will need 2-3m of pattern paper or tracing paper.
Before the Sew-Along: there are a few things you can prepare before the day of the Sew-Along. Gather your tools together, wind a bobbin and thread your machine, Pre-wash or steam your fabric. Roughly cut out your pattern pieces to separate them.
