Sew-Along - Til The Sun Goes Down Summer Ruffle Dress 14th & 15th April 2021
While we are all at home I thought it would be nice to sew along together.
The 'Summer Ruffle' has options of a wrap or an 'A' line dress. Both dresses feature double ruffle sleeves & flounce hems, giving them a feminine and relaxed look.
Fitting is simple, without buttons or zips, making them quick and easy dresses to make. Both versions have the option of inserted side seam pockets. Using just the lower sleeve on its own is also an option that works well for a simpler look.
French seams & narrow hems will be used to create this lovely summer dress.
You will need to purchase your pattern here

This sew-along will take place on Zoom, I will send out the link to join the Sew-Along the day before.
Let's have fun and make a summer dress :)
Materials Needed: For the wrap version you will need 3.6m of 150cm wide woven fabric, for the A line version you will need 2.8m of 150cm wide woven fabric.
Before the Sew-Along: there are a few things you can prepare before the day of the Sew-Along. Gather your tools together, wind a bobbin and thread your machine. You could also thread up your overlocker if you have one. Pre-wash or steam your fabric. Roughly cut out your pattern pieces to separate them.
