Sewing with Silk - 18th May 2024
Sewing with silk can be tricky - in this workshop, you will learn how to deal with this difficult fabric and make a pretty camisole. Learn techniques for cutting out, and the correct seams and hems. There will be lots of tips to get the perfect finish and you will also learn how to make those narrow straps.
The Ogden Cami pattern is included in the workshop price.
What You Need To Bring: The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project. You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.
Materials Needed: You will need
B Cup size 0-18 - 1.80 meters of 135cm wide silk satin and a matching thread.
C Cup size 14-30 - 2.2m of 135m wide silk satin and a matching thread
