Skirts Made Simple - 6th December 2024
Create your perfect skirt; choose to make it straight or A-line, short or long. You will learn everything you need to know to make it fit perfectly, including inserting a concealed zip and facing. At the end of the workshop, you will take home a perfectly fitting skirt and the pattern to make many more.
What You Need To Bring: The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project. You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.
Materials Needed: 1m of 150cm wide medium weight fabric, 1m of 150cm wide Lining (optional), .25m Woven Fusible Interfacing, 23cm concealed zip, matching thread
If you are looking for lovely fabric I can recommend Bloomsbury Square Fabrics who are an online business based nearby, you can order fabric up to 48 hours before the workshop and have it delivered to the Sewing Room free of charge so it will be ready for you when you arrive.
