The Classic Cardigan - 20th September 2020
The classic cardigan would look perfect with a vintage dress or a pair of Jeans.
Choose the short or long length, alter your pattern to fit, and learn to work with knit fabrics on this one day workshop.
The Jennifer Lauren pattern is included in the workshop price
What You Need To Bring: The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project. You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.
Materials Needed: For the short version you will need 1.75m of 150cm wide stable knit fabric, the samples in the pictures are made from 100% Merino Jersey Knit, cotton lycra would also work well for a lightweight cardigan, 20cm of woven fusible interfacing, 70cm of 2cm wide grosgrain ribbon (optional), 6 buttons & matching thread, for the longer version you will need 2m of 150cm wide fabric, 2 buttons & matching thread.
