The Classic Wrap Dress - 12th & 13th September 2024 FULLY BOOKED
Diane von Furstenberg created the ultimate wrap dress in the 1970s, to celebrate 50 years since this design first appeared Vogue has released the Iconic pattern from their archives.
This is a great opportunity if you have always wanted to make a wrap dress from the original design.
- Front wrapped dress
- Three inches below mid-knee or evening length
- Fitted bodice, slightly gathered at the front and tucked at the back into the waistline
- Fit and flare skirt and attached tie ends that tie at the side front or centre back
- Full-length sleeves have pointed cuffs with button trim
- With or without a pointed collar, topstitch trim
The cost of the pattern is included in the workshop price
What You Need To Bring: The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers and all the tools you need to complete your project. You are welcome to bring your machine and sewing box if you wish.
Materials Needed: To make the wrap dress fabric, interfacings & matching thread, please see the chart on the left for amounts
Interfacings & threads will be available to purchase in the sewing room.
