The Linton Couture Skirt - Starts 21st June 2023
On this skirt workshop learn the Couture techniques needed to work with a fabric such as Linton Tweed.
Learn how to stabilise this tricky fabric by quilting the lining, insert a zip by hand and create beautiful hanging loops like those found on designer garments.
This is a pencil skirt with a waistband and back zip, the darts add shape and the side seams are placed slightly towards the back to give an elegant line and come in slightly at the hem.
The pattern is included in the workshop price
What You Need To Bring: The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project. You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.

You will need the same amount of lining plus a 20cm (8") zip and matching threads. You will also need 1m of calico for your toile
