Slip dresses are everywhere this year, a classic bias cut slip dress can be worn on its own as the perfect summer dress, under sheer dresses or as a nightgown. For a more casual look they look great worn with a fitted t-shirt underneath or paired with a jacket or cardigan.

On this workshop you will learn to work with fabric cut ont he bias, seam and hem finishes and how to make narrow shoulder straps.

There are three designs to choose from, all are cut on the bias to give lovely fit

Sicily is a romantic bias cut slip dress. Inspired by summer road trips through southern Italy and sitting in a cafe in sunny Sicily, this slip dress is going to make you feel flirty and beautiful.

The pattern comes with two views. View A has skinny straps, a low cowl neck and a midi-length. View B has wider straps, a higher cowl neckline and the hem falls above the knee. (sizes 6-28)

Sadie is a classic bias cut slip dress whose features include a shaped neckline with facings, spaghetti straps and optional back darts (for less drapey fabrics such as cottons and linens). (sizes 6-16)

The cost of the pattern is included in the workshop price.
