The Winter Coat - Starts 18th September 2025
Making yourself a Winter Coat is really rewarding - choose beautiful fabrics, underlings, linings, trims and buttons and make a coat that will last and last.
Over 4 days you will have the time to complete a coat of your choice learning construction techniques to help your coat last longer, create details like pockets and buttonholes and add the finishing touches to your Winter Coat.
What You Need To Bring: The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project. You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.
Materials Needed: Choose a pattern for your coat and bring along the fabrics & notions required plus calico to make a toile (if you have time to make a toile beforehand that would leave more time for construction during the workshop), interfacings & cotton lawn for underlings can be purchased on the workshop - if you would like any advice on patterns or fabrics do get in touch
