TR Double Fold Bodice with Claudette Joseph - 22nd August 2024

We are very happy that Claudette Joseph, who is a 5 times TR Cutting Super Master, is coming back to the Sewing Room to run a workshop using Origami TR pattern cutting techniques.

TR Double Fold Bodice

This one day workshop will instruct you practically on this origami skill.  You will draft a full size working pattern and construct the piece in fabric as your personal reference sample.

This technique is one of the origami skills that incorporate a series of folds to create a mesmerising full bodice detail whilst still retaining the original fit.

We look forward to seeing your fabulous pieces after this workshop......the creativity will be endless.

What You Need To Bring : The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project.  You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.

Materials Needed: 1.5 meters of non stretch fabric (calico, medium weight denim, cotton drill etc)  masking tape, french curve or pattern master, ruler, ballpoint pen and colours felt tips or fine liners, pencil, notepad.
