TR Ribbon Skirt with Claudette Joseph - 11th June 2023

We are very happy that Claudette Joseph, who is a 5 times TR Cutting Super Master, is coming back to the Sewing Room to run a workshop using Origami TR Cutting.

TR Ribbon Skirt

This one day workshop will show you how to lift and include a more creative element to an already existing Pencil skirt pattern of your choice, i will show you how to transform a basic pencil skirt into a fit and flare skirt with a beautiful ribbon detail using the TR (Transformational Reconstruction) method.

Bring along your favourite pencil skirt pattern and totally transform it.

We look forward to seeing your fabulous pieces after this workshop......the creativity will be endless.

What You Need To Bring : The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project.  You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.

Materials Needed: Your favourite Pencil Skirt Pattern (one that you know fits) 1.75m of two woven fabrics (150cm wide) of your choice, matching thread & notions, 3m of Calico, masking tape, ruler, pencil, notepad, camera.
