Christmas Sewing
After a busy lockdown with Facebook Lives, Zoom 121's and Sewalongs it was nice to get back to the Sewing Room to run a few workshops in December. Some beautiful garments were made, from shirts to pyjamas everyone worked so hard, here are some pictures of students work
The ladies on the Dressmaker's Portfolio are halfway through their course, it has been very different this year as we haven't seen as much of each other but some beautiful garments have been made, I am so proud of everyone for producing these fab garments at home - looking forward to next term and hopefully you will be able to see all of their hard work at our exhibition in July (fingers crossed!)
We have been busy adding more items to our Christmas Shop on the website so if you are still looking for a gift for a sewing friend (or yourself) there are lots of things to choose from.
New items include Clover Clip'n'Glide, the easy way to thread elastic or tape through a channel. MyPad Sewing Machine Needle Keeper - the perfect way of storing your used needles until you need them again
Rainbow Overlocking Thread, two colours already in stock, more to come and
Wooden Pressing Tools are all back in Stock,
Gift Vouchers are also available to buy, these can be used to purchase workshops or haberdashery
If you are looking for a project over the Christmas Break then there are also our Online Courses - make a simple T-shirt, a Blazer or even a Couture Jacket
