Midhurst Sewing Room News

The next stage of Lockdown is coming to an end and we are getting ready to

welcome you back to the Sewing Room.

We have loved running Sew Alongs over the last few months - it has been

so nice to sew with so many of you we have all created some fantastic garments,

here are just a few

Our weekly Friday Lives on Facebook and Instagram have been another great

way to keep connected with everyone - sharing news, techniques and of course

Amy's cocktail recipes have been a great end to each week.- we are planning to

continue these every other Friday at 5.30 pm

Workshops start in the Sewing Room on Monday 17th May, there are still a few

spaces on some in the next few months - so if you would like to make a skirt, a

bag, a Kimono style jacket or learn some new techniques you can see details of all

the workshops by clicking on the pictures below

There are also two new dates for making a Body Double with the lovely

Wendy Gardiner - having a dress form that matches your measurements can be

really helpful when fitting your projects - for more details click below.

We are planning to continue Sew Alongs on Zoom, as well as our in-person workshops

-  lookout for new projects including the Victory Patterns Trina Dress, Tom & Linda Platts

colour block dress and a full or half slip - you can see all the details below.

There are still a few spaces on our Sewing Retreats in Brighton and Devon and we

are excited to announce the return of our Couture Retreat in Carlisle which will be in

May 2022 (there is only 1 place left on this one!!)

Lastly, we would love to see you at our Garden Party - catching up with everyone

virtually has been great but nothing beats a social get together.  Join us in August,

a chance to dress up and celebrate the end of lockdown - we have lots of fun things

planned.  For more details and to book your ticket click below
