Midhurst Sewing Room News
The next stage of Lockdown is coming to an end and we are getting ready to
welcome you back to the Sewing Room.
We have loved running Sew Alongs over the last few months - it has been
so nice to sew with so many of you we have all created some fantastic garments,
here are just a few
Our weekly Friday Lives on Facebook and Instagram have been another great
way to keep connected with everyone - sharing news, techniques and of course
Amy's cocktail recipes have been a great end to each week.- we are planning to
continue these every other Friday at 5.30 pm
Workshops start in the Sewing Room on Monday 17th May, there are still a few
spaces on some in the next few months - so if you would like to make a skirt, a
bag, a Kimono style jacket or learn some new techniques you can see details of all
the workshops by clicking on the pictures below
There are also two new dates for making a Body Double with the lovely
Wendy Gardiner - having a dress form that matches your measurements can be
really helpful when fitting your projects - for more details click below.
We are planning to continue Sew Alongs on Zoom, as well as our in-person workshops
- lookout for new projects including the Victory Patterns Trina Dress, Tom & Linda Platts
colour block dress and a full or half slip - you can see all the details below.
There are still a few spaces on our Sewing Retreats in Brighton and Devon and we
are excited to announce the return of our Couture Retreat in Carlisle which will be in
May 2022 (there is only 1 place left on this one!!)
Lastly, we would love to see you at our Garden Party - catching up with everyone
virtually has been great but nothing beats a social get together. Join us in August,
a chance to dress up and celebrate the end of lockdown - we have lots of fun things
